Kodangal: Local legislator Patnam Narender Reddy visited the Bomraspet mandal Praja Parishad President (MPP) office and distributed Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 104 newly-married couples and later handed over the land passbooks to farmers as part of the Rythu Bandhu scheme on Wednesday.On the occasion, the MLA said that the the government was contemplating to deliver the Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi cheques at the doorsteps of the beneficiaries and very soon this will be implemented. He said the government was giving highest priority to the farming sector and was providing financial assistance to farmers in the form of Rythu Bandhu and providing Rs 5,000 per acre as input subsidy to the farmers. Also Read – CM KCR praises PRO for his books on Telangana Advertise With Us The MLA directed the revenue officials concerned to complete all the pending works of land record reviews and corrections as early as possible and ensure that no farmer is deprived of government’s financial support. “We have come across some complaints that the revenue officials were deliberately delaying the land record updating. We will not spare those who are harassing the farmers and will take strict action against them,” warned the MLA. The programme was organised by Bomraspet MPP Hemli Bai, who presided over the programme at the Mandal Praja Parishad office.
