The service is reduced to two times a day on Saturdays and one on Sundays.“Upon your return from Limerick City you have four bus services commencing at 1.35pm with last service at 5.40pm and similarly these services reduce to two on a Saturday and one on a Sunday.“One of the major issues surrounding the return bus route is timing. Many students travelling to secondary schools, completing after school study and those working in Limerick City centre are unable to use public transport due to there being no later bus service,” Cllr McSweeney explained. He also pointed out that Mungret has been promised an extended bus service for a number of years and is still waiting for it.“Mungret has grown significantly over the last number of years with additional housing and new schools and these public transport plans have still not materialised. The improvement of the Clarina bus service will be able to work hand in hand with the provision of improved bus services for Mungret,” he concluded.center_img Previous articleLimerick woman to lead hotel industry through challenging timesNext articleStorm Jorge brings Orange Weather Warning this weekend Alan Jacqueshttp://www.limerickpost.ie NewsPoliticsTransportHopes for improved Mungret bus serviceBy Alan Jacques – February 27, 2020 579 Limerick on Covid watch list Shannon Airport braced for a devastating blow RELATED ARTICLESMORE FROM AUTHOR Is Aer Lingus taking flight from Shannon? Dead & Company Close Out Hometown Run At Shoreline Amphitheatre [Videos]

first_imgDead & Company wrapped up their two-night stand at Mountain View, CA’s Shoreline Amphitheatre on Tuesday night. Despite the show’s proximity to Independence Day, the band did not deliver a rendition of “U.S. Blues” during the hometown performance, though “New Minglewood Blues”  and “Viola Lee Blues” did make the cut.The show opened with a fun “Iko Iko” before moving on to “Alabama Getaway”, ‘New Minglewood Blues” and “Brown-Eyed Women”. Next came “Cassidy,” and “Ship of Fools” before the band closed out the segue-free first set with “Let It Grow” from their “Weather Report Suite”.Dead & Company made up for their lack of first set transitions with a second set in which the music never stopped. Things got started with a “China Cat Sunflower” the flowed right into “Althea” and “Viola Lee Blues” on its way to the expected “I Know You Rider”. Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart’s obligatory “Drums” segment followed before the rest of the band returned to guide the ship through “Space” and “The Other One v2”. Bob Weir then led the band through the latter-day Garcia/Hunter composition “The Days Between”, which melted into “Casey Jones” to end the set. Finally, Dead & Company returned for a encore take on “Ripple”.Dead & Company will return the stage on Friday night when they headline the Mattress Firm Ampitheatre in Chula Vista, CA, just outside of San Diego. However, as previously reported, the band is also hosting a pop-up in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, and they’re to wrap up their California run on Saturday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.Dead & Company – “Iko Iko”[Video: nugs.tv]Dead & Company – “I Know You Rider”[Video: silverclock2]Dead & Company – “Drums”/”Space”[Video: blisstanger]Dead & Company – “Ripple” [Video: mano1971music]Setlist: Dead & Company | Shoreline Amphitheatre | Mountain View, CA | 7/3/18Set One: Iko Iko, Alabama Getaway, New Minglewood Blues, Brown-Eyed Women, Cassidy, Ship Of Fools, Let It GrowSet Two: China Cat Sunflower > Althea > Viola Lee Blues > I Know You Rider > Drums > Space > The Other One v2 > The Days Between > Casey JonesEncore: Ripplelast_img read more
